There will be only one occasion during the day that you will be asked for alms. This will be in the temple by use of the Gift Aid envelopes. There will be no further request for funds at any other time during the Meeting or at the Festive Board.

The Gift Aid envelopes will therefore be your only opportunity to make a donation and the Charity Steward asks that you accurately complete the envelopes so that the Relief Chest may receive maximum benefit from tax reclamation.

Your generosity, via the envelopes, will be most appreciated.

Donations & Sponsorships

Gallipoli Lodge of MMM No. 1984 supports our chosen Charity partners each year and we are also proud to support charities close to the hearts of our members and local public.

Qualification Standards: In order to manage our charitable contributions in a fair and equitable manner, we have established qualification standards to follow when considering eligible organisations.

  • The donation request form must be completed and returned at least 9 weeks before the event.
  • Donation requests will be considered only if they aim to support a registered charity or public service such as schools and hospitals.
  • An organisation is limited to only one donation receipt within a 12-month period.
